Advanced High-Temperature Release & Lubrication Coating
CeraCoat Z™ is a premium-grade, water-based hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) coating formulated using 99.5% ultra-pure ceramic particles. Designed for extreme industrial environments, it delivers superior high-temperature lubrication, non-stick performance, and protective surface coating properties.
This advanced ceramic suspension forms a smooth, uniform film with outstanding adhesion and thermal stability, making it ideal for processes operating at 1000°C and above.
CeraCoat Z™ prevents molten metals such as aluminum, zinc, and copper from wetting treated surfaces, significantly reducing material build-up and improving process efficiency.

Surface Preparation & Application Guidelines
CeraCoat Z™ is supplied in a ready-to-use formulation.
Surface Preparation:
- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, rust, dust, paint, or lacquer residues.
- The coating does not form a permanent bond and can be removed when required.
Application:
- Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply using a brush, roller, or suitable spray system.
- At room temperature and normal humidity, drying time is approximately 10 minutes (touch dry).
- Pre-heating the substrate slightly can significantly reduce drying time.
- If required, thin with small quantities of distilled water, mixing slowly and thoroughly after each addition to prevent clumping.
- Keep container tightly closed to prevent drying or thickening, as the formulation is water-based.
CeraCoat Z™ can withstand freezing temperatures without compromising performance.
Performance Highlights
-
Application temperature capability:
- Up to 1400°C in vacuum
- Up to 900°C in air atmosphere
