MetArmor Zinc Brite Paint is a high-performance, brushable zinc-rich coating specially developed for touch-up and repair applications on galvanized or bare ferrous metal surfaces. Designed for industrial, automotive, marine, and construction sectors, this formulation offers galvanic protection through a high-purity zinc content, forming a sacrificial layer that prevents rust and corrosion.

Formulated with a quick-drying resin base, MetArmor Zinc Brite Paint dries to a hard, durable, metallic-grey finish that resembles hot-dip galvanization, making it ideal for repairing weld seams, damaged galvanized coatings, or any exposed steel surface. It also serves as an intermediate primer coat in multi-layer protective systems.

Directions for Use

1. Surface Preparation:
   • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove rust, grease, oil, dust, and old paint.
   • Use wire brushing, sandpaper, or blasting for best adhesion.
   • Ensure the surface is dry and free from contaminants.
2. Mixing:
   • Stir thoroughly before and during use to ensure even dispersion of zinc particles.
3. Application:
   • Apply using a brush in even strokes.
   • For best results, apply 2 coats, allowing 15–30 minutes drying time between coats.
4. Drying Time (at 25°C, 50% RH):
   • Touch Dry: 10–15 mins
   • Handle Dry: 30–45 mins
   • Full Cure: 12–24 hours
5. Clean-Up:
   • Use toluene, xylene, or lacquer thinner for cleaning tools.
